Two of Europe’s brightest young talents enjoyed impressive outings in NBA Summer League action on Saturday, with Bogoljub Marković and Egor Demin both standing out for their respective teams.
After recently signing a four-year contract with the Milwaukee Bucks, Marković joined the Bucks‘ Summer League team in a 97-83 victory over the Golden State Warriors in Sacramento.
The Serbian international was among Milwaukee’s top performers, finishing with 16 points, seven rebounds, and three assists in 25 minutes while shooting 8-for-12 from two-point range. He was the Bucks’ second-leading scorer behind former Fenerbahçe guard Brandon Boston, who scored 17 points.
Meanwhile, former Real Madrid prospect Egor Demin starred for the Brooklyn Nets, despite their 79-76 defeat to the Sacramento Kings.
The Russian guard finished with 23 points and seven rebounds, while Israeli prospect Ben Saraf added 10 points and six rebounds for Brooklyn.
Aday Mara suited up for the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Salt Lake City Summer League, but despite a solid performance of 10 points, four assists, and three rebounds, his team suffered a 111-74 loss to the Memphis Grizzlies.
