Khris Middleton has reached an agreement with the Washington Wizards and will continue his career with this team, where he played during the 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons.
Over two years, Middleton played a total of 48 games for the Wizards before moving to the Dallas Mavericks last season.
However, Dallas decided to let him go, and according to Shams Charania, Middleton chose the Wizards via a sign-and-trade deal.
“Free agent Khris Middleton has agreed on a three-year, $17.6 million deal with the Washington Wizards via sign-and-trade, agent Mike Lindeman of Excel Sports Management tells ESPN. The 14-year veteran returns to D.C. where he spent parts of last two seasons as a leader with championship”
As Charania mentioned, this deal is a part of a larger six-team deal that includes, in total, the Mavericks, Wizards, Clippers, Pistons, Bucks and Grizzlies. It involves previously agreed upon deals such as John Collins, Gary Harris and Taurean Prince (Detroit), Isaiah Stewart (Memphis), Santi Aldama (Mavericks), Caris LeVert (Bucks)…
Last season, he averaged 10.2 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 2.8 assists with the Wizards and Mavericks.
Middleton is entering his 15th career season, playing 12 of those with the Bucks, where he won the 2021 championship as the second leader behind Giannis Antetokounmpo. He has 839 appearances with an average of 16.1 points, plus 4.7 rebounds and 3.9 assists.
