Klay Thompson praised Giannis Antetokounmpo’s daily commitment as the pair prepared to begin their first season together with the Miami Heat.
Speaking on ESPN’s “Big Day with Peter Schrager” ahead of the season, Thompson highlighted the work Antetokounmpo puts into refining his game.
“I’m most impressed by GA’s work ethic. It’s ridiculous how hard he works. I see him in here everyday putting in work. Especially skill work, working on his jump shot, ability to finish in the paint. It’s a joy to be his teammate.”
Thompson said that dedication sets a standard extending throughout the roster.
“His work ethic trickles down to the last guy on the bench. When your best player has that type of work ethic, it raises the intensity of the whole organization.”
