The Dallas Mavericks announced that they have exercised their fourth-year team option on Zaccharie Risacher for the 2027–28 season.

The French forward has averaged 8.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 2.0 steals and 2.0 blocks through his first four games with Dallas. He opened his Mavericks career with five steals against the Houston Rockets on October 21, setting a franchise record for a debut.

Risacher’s eight steals and eight blocks give him 16 combined defensive plays, tied for the second-highest total in the NBA this season.

The 21-year-old holds career averages of 11.1 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists across 146 appearances, including 120 starts, with Atlanta and Dallas. He has shot 45.3% from the field and 35.5% from three-point range.

During his time with the Hawks, Risacher earned All-Rookie First Team honors in 2024–25 and became the fourth-youngest player in franchise history to reach 1,000 career points.
