Luka Doncic out against the Pistons due to low back injury

The Los Angeles Lakers face a new challenge in the NBA as they visit the Detroit Pistons, but they will be without their best player.

Luka Doncic will miss the game against the Pistons due to low back tightness, the Lakers have confirmed.

Luka has been impressive in the NBA season so far, coming off a game where he scored 52 points against the Portland Trail Blazers, and he has scored 40 or more points in the previous four games.

So far, he averages 40.1 points per game, with 7.8 rebounds and 7.7 assists, and he is currently leading the NBA Race to MVP.

It is clear that the Lakers will be significantly weakened, and now Austin Reaves will have to step up in the absence of the Slovenian.
