Giannis Antetokounmpo was named the third most improved player in the NBA, after completing one seriously impressive season, during which he also assumed a different role in the game of the Milwaukee Bucks. The one of a… point guard!

Giannis finished the season averaging 16.9 points, 7.7. rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1.4 blocks and 1.2 steals per game in the 35.3 minutes he spent on court in each game. A significant improvement from the 12.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1 block per game which he had registered in the 2014-2015 season.

His diverse output has been significantly increased since he has began to undertake point guard duties, as it is also evident by the five triple-double performances he recorded. The “Greek Freak” also posted a career high of 34 points on April the 3rd versus the Chicago Bulls.

CJ McCollum was voted as the most improved player, after a brilliant year with the Portland Trail Blazers, while Kemba Walker, of the Charlotte Hornets was second in the related list.
