New Orleans Pelicans‘ center Alexis Ajinca stated that he’d welcome a trade if it resulted in more playing time, as mentioned on NBC Sports.

Ajinca, who has not played in 11 straight games and had played only once  (for three minutes) in the previous 19 games, spoke before his team’s clash against the Suns on Monday.

“I don’t care where I’m going, as long as I’m playing,” said the 29-year-old center, who is in the second season with New Orleans. “The contract is good, but at the end of the day, I’m a competitor and I just want to play and be able to bring what I can to a team. If it’s here, it would be great. But if it’s not, then I just go somewhere else.”

Aware of the trade reports, the player is “ready for anything”, as long as it means more playing time.
