No other European shined brighter on Friday night than Detroit Pistons‘ (36-43) Boban Marjanovic who led his team to a 114-109 victory! The Serbian big man matched his career high of points scored, tapping 27 against Houston Rockets (53-26), while he also grabbed 12 rebounds. It is to be noted that Marjanovic has matched his EuroLeague record, as he had scored 27 points against Alba Berlin in the 2014-15 season.

Nikola Jokic added a double-double for Denver Nuggets (38-41) with 23 points and 13 rebounds in their win over the New Orleans’ Pelicans (33-46) with 122-106. Danilo Gallinari added 13 more points for the winners, while for the Pelicans‘ side, Donatas Motiejunas finished with 4 points.

Another double-double, this time by Ricky Rubio, who scored 26 points and handed 12 assists in Minnesota’s (31-48) loss to Utah Jazz (49-30), 120-113. For the winners, Rudy Gobert added 16 points.

Davis Bertans led the San Antonio Spurs (61-18) to a 102-89 triumph over Dallas Mavericks (32-47) with 19 points in 39 minutes. For the opposing side, Dirk Nowitzki added 8 points.

A double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds by Marc Gasol stood out in Memphis Grizzlies‘ (43-37) 101-88 win against New York Knicks (30-50). For the Knicks‘ side, Willy Hernangomez recorded 11 points and 10 boards as a starter, while Mindaugas Kuzminskas scored 10 points.

The Atlanta Hawks (41-38) beat the Cleveland Cavaliers (51-28) 114-110, with Ersan Ilyasova adding 13 points for the Hawks‘ side in 26 minutes.

Jonas Valanciunas scored 9 points and grabbed 10 boards in Toronto Raptors‘ (49-31) 96-94 win over Miami Heat (38-41). For the latter, Goran Dragic led with 18 points.

Donatas Sabonis added 6 points in Oklahoma City Thunder‘s (45-34) loss to Phoenix Suns (23-57) with 120-99, while George Papagiannis scored 10 points and had 10 rebounds in a 94-98 loss of Sacramento Kings (31-48) to Los Angeles Lakers (24-55)
