Upon his arrival at the States, the young French point guard spoke about his NBA future and also about his wish to help Strasbourg win the championship title.

“I have no preference like that”, Ntilikina told “The New York Post“. “All I need is to be in a really good project for me. I know it will all then depend on me. The NBA draft is just a step to the real goal — to make a big career in the NBA. I just want to be in a good project and atmosphere. I’m enjoying the process here, but I will have time to focus on my French team, talk to teammates, see what happens in practice and go back to France to play Game 5. Now I’m enjoying the draft process. I will take it step by step and go back to France and try to win a championship”.

Ntilikina also added that he would love, if the Knicks draft him to play alongside Kristaps Porzingis: “For sure I hope he’s on the team. We can be good together, good playing together. We [can] have a really good relationship on and off the court. He’s a really good player and helps the team win. I actually am really excited to be here. It’s like a dream come true. I’m going to enjoy the process with my family and friends”.
