“I think I’m ready. I’m full of confidence. It feels like it is the right time,” said Bogdan Bogdanovic about joining the Sacramento Kings yesterday and today, his transfer became official.
The international Serbian guard signed his contract that makes him a Kings player and his agent posted the following pictures of the procedure on Twitter. Next to the player is club GM and Serbian basketball legend Vlade Divac who was talking about his vision for the new Kings, with Bogdan on board, back in February.
Bogdanovic wasn’t thinking much of the Kings back then of course, preferring to focus his attention to the goals at hand with Fenerbahce. And his contribution was massive in his team winning the first EuroLeague title not only in the history of the franchise but Turkish basketball.
He then led Fener to the Turkish league title, earning Finals MVP honors in the process, to put the exclamation mark in the best season of his professional career. So far.
