Adam Silver issued a statement on Saturday night and said he was “disappointed” as the Golden State Warriors will not be able to visit the White House in celebration of their NBA title after President Donald Trump withdrew the invitation.
Silver’s statement reads:

The uproar still goes on, as the Warriors also released their own announcement for President Trump.
