Bennet, a former number 1 overall pick was added to the Suns‘ training camp roster in September and did not appear in a preseason game prior to his release.

The Suns were the fourth team Bennett has played for since getting drafted in the 2013 Draft. Besides for the Cavs and Suns, 24 years old forward played with the Brooklyn Nets, Toronto Raptors, and Minnesota Timberwolves. A few months ago, he won the EuroLeague trophy with Fenerbahce.

As for the former player of Greek side Olympiacos, Joss Childress, he was cut down from Nuggets‘ roster. He last played in the NBA during the 2013-14 season and remains an intriguing veteran option.

Childress holds career-averages of 9.1 points and 4.7 rebounds in eight NBA seasons.
