For a moment, it seemed that Boston’s winning steak was going to end as Dirk Nowitzki and the Dallas Mavericks were up 13 in the fourth quarter but Kyrie Irving had other plans.

The Boston Celtics beat the Dallas Mavericks 110-102 after OT to mark their 16th straight win.

Boston was in control for most of the first half but Dallas fought back and managed to take a thirteen point lead in the fourth.

Kyrie Irving led his team to 10-2 run to tie the game and after the Mavs took a four point lead in overtime, it was all Boston afterwards.

Irving, had a season high 47 points on 5-of-7 three pointers and 10-of-11 free throws, adding 3 boards, 6 assists and 1 steal in a win.

Notably, the game featured three German players. Daniel Theis had 3 boards in 6 minutes for the winning side.

Dirk Nowitzki enjoyed his first double-double of the season, 14 points, 12 boards and a block while fellow German, Max Kleber had 4 rebounds in 15 minutes.
