After playing four matches with South Bay Lakers in G-League, Ivica Zubac is back in the NBA.

Croatian center Ivica Zubac averaged 23.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in four games during his latest run with South Bay and the L.A. Lakers decided to bring him back.

The official announcement by the South Bay Lakers is as follows:

“The Los Angeles Lakers have recalled center Ivica Zubac from the South Bay Lakers, it was announced today.

Zubac scored a career-high 28 points on 13-20 from the field as he led South Bay to a 114-109 win over the Canton Charge on Friday, December 22. In his most recent stint with South Bay, Zubac played four games, averaging 23.3 points, 9.0 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 32.1 minutes per game.

In seven games with South Bay this season, Zubac has averaged 21.9 points, 9.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 2.0 blocks. Zubac has grabbed a pair of double-doubles and made 64.5% (71-110) of his shots from the field.”
