In a much anticipated Christmas Day rematch, the Golden State Warriors beat the Cavs 118-108 in Cleveland.

This star filled match-up lived up to the hype with plenty of highlight reel plays coming from both sides.

The game was close heading into the fourth, 93-91 but the Cavaliers went cold at the worst possible, hitting one shot in the first 6 minutes.

Naturally, the Dubs made them pay and methodically pulled away to what was ultimately an easy win.

Durant and LeBron had 32 points respectively, Thomas scored 19 and played a season high 32 minutes but it was Draymond Green’s all-around performance that made the difference.

The “heart and soul” of this Warriors team came up 1 assist shy of triple-double, finishing with 16 11 points, 16 rebounds and 9 assists.

Golden State has now won 7 of the last 8 games between the two teams, including last year’s NBA finals.

It seems like the Cavaliers need more in order to compete with the Dubs if they meet in the finals and it will interesting to see how their GM will approach the trade deadline.
