The Bucks‘ Greek Freak fell down after stepping on DeMarre Carroll’s foot away from the ball in his team’s clash with Brooklyn Nets.
As ESPN’s Nick Friedell reports, Giannis was on the ground writhing in pain. He walked gingerly to the bench. Looks like he turned his right ankle on the replay.
The team’s medical staff checked him out and re-taped his ankle, but he never returned to the game, ending his day with 16 points and eight rebounds in 28 minutes.
Considering the fact that after the game he greeted Greek fans who were waiting for him, his injury is probably nothing to worry about.
