Last season’s finalists received Jordan Clarkson, George Hill, Rodney Hood, Larry Nance Jr and a protected second-round pick.

It all started with the trade of Thomas to the Lakers and continued with a three-way blockbuster.  The Cleveland Cavaliers acquired Hood and Hill in a three-way deal with the Utah Jazz and Sacramento Kings, league sources told ESPN. The Cavs also received the rights to Lithuanian big man Arturas Gudaitis who is currently playing for AX Armani Exchange Olimpia Milano in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague.

The Cavaliers send Iman Shumpert and a 2020 second-round pick via the Miami Heat to the Kings in the deal. Sacramento acquires Joe Johnson from Utah, who gets Jae Crowder and Derrick Rose from Cleveland.

Last but not least the Cavs traded Wade to the Heat and they get a heavily protected second-round pick in the deal. It’s a new day in Cleveland and the question if the future of the team includes LeBron James, who is going to be a free agent in the summer, remains.
