When asked about his former team, he smiled and was ready to give a headline. “I am sorry that we lost the battle for the Turkish cup, but I think that this is a deja vu from the previous season”, said Bogdanovic and explained: “This might mean that Fenerbahce will win the EuroLeague in the end”.
However, when he asked if he missed Zeljko Obradovic and the way his face turns red when he is upset, Bogdanovic joked: “I don’t miss that version of his face at all”. Here’s the video with his full quotes.
Before traveling to LA, Bogdanovic spoke about what made him choose basketball.
“I was watching the final game of the World Championships in Indianapolis (in 2002),” Bogdanovic recalled, “and when we won that gold medal with Vlade and Peja, I said, ‘I decide. Let’s go basketball.’ That was an amazing moment for my country.”, said Bogdanovic for the Sacramento Bee.
Bogdan will play on Friday’s Rising Stars Challenge during the All-Star festivities and he wanted to thank all the Serbian fans that are supporting him.
