After finishing off an exciting and successful four years at the University of Arizona, Dusan Ristic is getting ready for the next big step in his basketball career.

As he had said to Eurohoops a couple of months ago, the 22-year old center wants to pursue the NBA dream: “I want to pursue the NBA dream and try to sign a professional contract with any NBA team. The next few months will determine whether I will accomplish that or not. Anyhow, my goal is to play basketball for as long as I can and to have fun while playing.”

Ristic is currently working out for several NBA teams in an effort to be selected in the 2018 NBA Draft. The teams include the Los Angeles Lakers, the Sacramento Kings, and the Phoenix Suns. If he isn’t selected in the second round of the NBA Draft, his alternative choice would be to come back to Europe and play professionally.

In his fourth year with Arizona’s university, he averaged 12.2 points, 6.9 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 0.4 steals, and 0.5 blocks per game. He also shot an impressive 56.9% from the field and made the second team All-Pac-12.
