Milwaukee Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer is set to visit Greece for five days at the end of June, during which he will meet with the team’s superstar, Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Greek Freak is already back in Greece for the summer and the new Bucks‘ head coach plans to meet with him and discuss the new season.

Budenholzer wants to build a strong connection with Giannis, a player he seems to appreciate a lot: “It was miserable coaching against him, and I’m so happy to be [saying], ’34’s on my team?’ That’s like really cool. He’s a nightmare to coach against, to game-plan, to figure out how you can keep him away from the basket”, he said after his signing with the Bucks.

Giannis, who is also overall excited about his cooperation with coach Budenholzer, mentioned the following in a prior interview: “He was the coach of the year, we had a great conversation. We talked about the game plan, how he views me as a player, how he can help this team. I had a lot of tough questions for him, but he was fun. I’m excited to play for him.”
