Slovenia’s wonderboy Luka Doncic earned himself the 63rd spot on ESPN’s annual ranking of NBA players, before the season has even started!

A great honor for the 2018 EuroLeague champion, who seems to be a favorite in Dallas already. Mavericks coach Rick Carlisle stated a few days prior that “anybody who doesn’t jump on season tickets now is going to sorely regret it later” when speaking of Doncic, while the 19-year-old has also earned praise from the team’s pillar, Dirk Nowitzki.

“He’s incredible with the ball for a big guy. He’s unbelievable in pick and roll play. His court vision is already unbelievable. I couldn’t believe what I saw from a 19/20-year-old. “

All these add up to Doncic’s profile, placing him high on the list and making his debut more than anticipated.
