Dzanan Musa debuted in the G League with 23 points and went on Thursday night with 19 points (10/12 FT., 3/6 2pt, 1/4 3pt.), seven rebounds, four assists and two blocks in 33 minutes. The 19-year-old Bosnian guard/forward helped the Long Island Nets beat Capital City Go-Go with 128-127 in the “Nassau Coliseum”.

The Brooklyn Nets assignee remains high on his NBA team’s radar, but can’t yet fit in Kenny Atkinson’s plans. He has only played a total of 18 minutes in the NBA since the beginning of the season. However, in his first two games in the G League he showed that he is surely ready for action.

The Long Island Nets got their second victory of the 2018-19 season, while Go-Go fell to 0-2. In the other two G League matches of the night, the Raptors 905 (2-0) got a 105-99 away win against the Westchester Knicks (2-2) and the Canton Charge (1-1) beat the Maine Red Claws (1-2) with 113-101.
