Canadian-Greek, Naz Mitrou-Long, doesn’t fit in Utah Jazz’s plans, but is getting plenty of playing time in the G League.

Naz Mitrou-Long nearly got a triple-double in Salt Lake City Stars (3-2) 113-104 win against the South Bay Lakers (1-4). The Utah Jazz assignee had 20 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds and is now averaging 18 points, 7.5 assists and 5.9 rebounds per G League 2018-19 game. Los Angeles Lakers German assignee, Isaac Bonga, also played in the match and scored 22 points for the losing side.


Boston Celtics’ assignee, Guerschon Yabusele, had 16 points, four rebounds and two assists before fouling out in the Maine Red Claws’ (1-4) 108-104 defeat at the hands of Raptors 905 (5-1).

In other Thursday night action, the Oklahoma City Blue (5-0) got in a 14-point hole, but beat Sioux Falls Skyforce (6-1) with 140-121. The Rio Grande Valley Vipers (3-2) got a 125-104 win over the Austin Spurs (2-3).
