Trade rumors or not, Nikola Vucevic is one of the best NBA centers. The 28-year-old proved his case again on Saturday night leading the Orlando Magic to a big win against the Los Angeles Lakers. He got a season-high for a second straight game scoring 36 points and added 13 rebounds.
LeBron James and the Lakers arrived at Orlando with a 4-game winning streak. They trimmed a 21-point deficit to just 10 going small without 33-year-old LeBron on the court, but Vucevic answered with eight straight points to seal the “W”. He made 15/23 shots, including 10/14 in the second half.
