A few months after capturing the 29th spot of the NBA Draft, Dzanan Musa is continuously lighting up his G League opponents.

Dzanan Musa has only scored 12 points in 26 minutes of NBA action during his rookie season. However, his G League opportunities as a Brooklyn Nets assignee at the Long Island Nets (10-4) are much greater. That much was proven once again on Sunday.

The Bosnian swingman went off scoring a season-high and game-high 27 points in the 125-111 away win over the Lakeland Magic (6-7). He sank six threes, grabbed six rebounds and dished six assists in 35 minutes. He’s now averaging 21 points per G League match.

Belgian Manu Lecomte was also in action. The 23-year-old point guard notched eight points, three assists and one rebound in 21 minutes for the Agua Caliente Clippers (6-7) that beat the Iowa Wolves (4-10), 115-103. In thirteen 2018-19 matches so far, Lecomte is averaging 9.6 points, 3.5 assists and 1.3 rebounds.
