23 games into the 2018-2019 season and Bogdan Bogdanovic has been producing the lot for the Sacramento Kings.

The Serbian guard has boosted his numbers in comparison with his debut NBA campaign (11.8 points, 3.3 assists and 2.9 rebounds), averaging 15.3 points, 3.7 assists and 3.3 rebounds over 27 minutes. Hit outing has been a key factor on the Kings being currently eighth in the Western Conference (19 – 16) and contenders to return to the playoffs for the first time since 2006.

Oh, and he’s been hitting game-winners at the buzzer. But that’s not news.

“I’m still trying to find a rhythm. Yes, it seems that the game is a little slower than last year. I’m getting more confident. Everything comes from practice,” Bogdanovic told Eurohoops.

Before signing with the Kings, Bogdanovic rose to the ranks of a superstar in Europe by playing with Fenerbahce Beko. Bogdanovic helped the Turkish side win the 2017 EuroLeague title plus a couple of domestic trophies, while elevating his game to another sphere under the tutelage of coach Zeljko Obradovic.

“You can see how my game is improving. Year by year I learned a lot from him during the three years with Fenerbahce,” Bogdanovic said to Eurohoops. “I can’t thank him enough for his lessons”
