James Nunnally is expected to not continue with the Houston Rockets following the expiration of the 10-day contract he signed with the team.

As ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski reports, the Rockets are expected to sign Kenneth Faried after the latter reached a buyout agreement with the Brooklyn Nets. Houston will need to clear a roster spot for Faried and releasing Nunnally is the “cleanest non-trade solution” for the team, per Woj.

Nunnally, a former EuroLeague champion with Fenerbahce in 2017, attracted some attention by such clubs as Panathinaikos (which eventually signed former NBAer Sean Kilpatrick) and Baskonia after being waived by the Minnesota Timberwolves earlier this month.
