Dirk Nowitzki will participate in the All-Star weekend’s 3-point contest according to Shams Charania of The Athletic. It will be the German player’s seventh All-Star game 3-point shootout.
At 40 years of age, Nowitzki, a 13-time All-Star, has the chance to become the oldest 3-point champion in the history of the contest. He had previously won the contest in 2006.
The 2019 All-Star Game will take place in Charlotte on the 16th and 17th of February.
