The Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday behind two triple-double performances. Russell Westbrook finished with 21 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists for his tenth straight triple-double. The 30-year-old broke his tie with Wilt Chamberlain to set the new NBA record for most consecutive matches with a triple-double.

“I just go play the game the right way. It’s what I do. Go out and compete every night and leave it on the floor, and whatever happens, happens. I’m very, very blessed to be able to go out and play, and I don’t take it for granted” Westbrook mentioned following the NBA 2018-19 Regular Season game.

The second triple-double of the night at the Chesapeake Energy Arena belonged to Paul George. The 28-year-old American forward had 47 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists. Combined with Westbrook’s 23rd triple-double of the season and 127th of his career, the duo became the first teammates in NBA history with a 20-point triple-double in the same match.
