Kawhi Leonard sank the winning shot for the Toronto Raptors against the Brooklyn Nets with only 4.2 seconds to go in the NBA 2018-19 Regular Season match. However, Marc Gasol also contributed to the “W” playing for the first time at the Scotiabank Arena as a member of the Raptors.

Talking about his reception, he mentioned: “It gives you the butterflies in your stomach. It made me feel like a rookie again. It was a great feeling to have”. The 34-year-old Spaniard center scored 11 of the hosts’ first 13 points in the last quarter and later pointed out: “I definitely got more comfortable”.

Gasol finished with 16 points. He made 6/8 inside the rainbow and sank his only three-point effort. During his 22 minutes of action, he added six rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block to his tally.
