With their first game following the All-Star Game, the Toronto Raptors will host the San Antonio Spurs. They will continue their six-game home stretch, but this contest is particularly special for Marc Gasol. The 34-year-old Spaniard will face his brother, Pau, once again, but for the first time as a Raptor.

“It’s even more fun now. The older you get the more you cherish it” he mentioned TSN’s Josh Lewenberg relayed and added: “I still want to kick his ass. That’s nothing new, but now I get to enjoy it more”.

There is also a chance Marc Gasol starts on Friday instead of Serge Ibaka. Nick Nurse admitted he hasn’t decided on his starting center indicating he will now choose between the two European players depending on the opponent.

Marc Gasol came off the bench in his first three appearances after his trade averaging 10 points and 6.3 rebounds. Ibaka has started 46 times this year and has 16 points per match in 55 NBA 2018-19 Regular Season games.
