The Milwaukee Bucks mathematically clinched playoffs spot thanks to the 131 – 1201 away win over the Los Angeles Lakers. The team is currently at the top of the Eastern Conference standings as well with 48 – 14. The best record in the NBA.
None of those are reasons to relax however, according to Nikola Mirotic.
“We don’t want to relax. We take it game by game. Everybody is trying to be healthy and be in good shape. When the playoffs come, it’s going to be different. There’s no time to relax,” Mirotic said after Milwaukee’s win over the Lakers.
Mirotic had 11 points and five rebounds in 22 minutes vs. the Lakers. On Wednesday, he notched 21 points plus eight boards to help the Bucks beat the Sacramento Kings.
“I know there’s much more to my game. I can do better. It’s a good start with the Bucks after the injury. I’m happy about it,” Mirotic said.
