L.A. Lakers forward Brandon Ingram will most likely stay out for the rest of the season due to a Deep Venous Thrombosis (DVT) in his arm, the team announced.

Ingram was out in the Lakers‘ last two games (the losses to the L.A. Clippers and the Denver Nuggets) because of a sore right shoulder and couldn’t “even lift his arm”. The player’s medical examinations revealed the DVT that will force him to miss the remainder of the season.

Ingram averaged 18.3 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game in 2018-2019. The Lakers are 11th in the Western Conference standings with a 30 – 35 record and are facing Boston Celtics Saturday (9/3).
