It was a busy NBA night and a good one for the Denver Nuggets. Their home victory versus the Portland Trail Blazers sealed the home-court advantage in the first round of the 2019 NBA playoffs and the Northwest championship. The Nuggets can’t drop under the Western Conference’s third place and are 1.5 games ahead of the third-placed Houston Rockets.

Nikola Jokic certainly played his part with 10 points in the final period. The 24-year-old Serbian big ended up with 22 points and 13 rebounds for his 55th double-double of the NBA 2018-19 Regular Season. He fell one helper shy from a triple-double, also tallied two steals and one block in 37 minutes.
