Jusuf Nurkic 2018-19 season ended prematurely in late March. He needed left leg surgery and was sidelined. The Portland Trail Blazers advanced to the Western Conference Semifinals with Enes Kanter filling in for the 24-year-old Bosnian center and are currently tied 1-1 in the best-of-seven series versus the Denver Nuggets.
Besides the Blazers, Nurkic is watching Marc Gasol and the Toronto Raptors in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. “It’s ridiculous how the Toronto Raptors are using Marc Gasol, 5% of his skills” he wrote on Twitter adding crazy and heisstilldamngood hashtags.
The Raptors are in a 2-1 hole in their series against the Philadelphia 76ers. The 34-year-old Spaniard center is averaging just 6.7 points in 30 minutes of action in the first three matches of the series, has 5 rebounds, 3.7 dimes, 1.3 rejections and 0.7 steals per game as well.
