Four minutes into the second half, Giannis Antetokounmpo picked up his fourth foul. With the Greek Freak on the bench, the reserves built a double-digit lead, which Antetokounmpo enhanced scoring 17 points in the fourth quarter.

The 24-year-old point forward ended up with 39 points with 15/22 from the field including a couple of triples. He also grabbed 16 rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal paving the way for the 3-1 lead in the Eastern Conference Semifinal best-of-seven series.

Asked about the contribution from the reserves during the press conference, Antetokounmpo pointed out: “We got 12 guys in the team, they’re all great NBA players” and added: “When they have an opportunity like this, they don’t waste it.”

On his dominating fourth quarter performance, the Greek Freak said: “I’ve got to do whatever it takes to help my team win” and later wished: “Now we have to play Game 5 and hopefully not come back to Boston.”
