The first game-winning buzzer-beater in Game 7 of an NBA Playoffs series was made on Sunday evening and sent the Toronto Raptors to the Eastern Conference Finals over the Philadelphia 76ers. Kawhi Leonard hit the decider after the ball bounced on the rim four times.

“It was great. That’s something I never experienced before, Game 7, a game-winning shot. It was a blessing to be able to get to that point and make that shot and feel that moment” the Game 7 hero mentioned after the game.

It was an emotional roller coaster that culminated with Leonard’s lucky roll. The home team celebrated, while the visitors accepted defeat with Joel Embiid not able to hold his tears.

Europeans were also on hand in Game 7 with Serge Ibaka and Marc Gasol posting a total of 24 points. Sidelined OG Anunoby remained out. Boban Marjanovic and Furkan Korkmaz of the 76ers didn’t get any action.
