“After a tough Game 2 personally, you want to come out and get rid of the bad taste” Marc Gasol mentioned after the Toronto Raptors beat the Milwaukee Bucks at the Scotiabank Arena. His team needed a couple of overtimes to take care of business at home on Sunday, but eventually secured the “W”. The Eastern Conference Finals best-of-seven series in now 2-1 in favor of the Bucks.

Gasol, 34, contributed with a 16-point, 12-rebound double-double. He dished seven helpers and rejected five shots as well, added one steal to his tally. In the two previous Finals he merely averaged 4 points, 8,5 boards, three assists and 1.5 block, but delivered a strong Game 3 showing despite picking up his fifth foul early in the fourth quarter.

Afterwards, he talked about the victory explaining: “It’s a lot easier to sleep when your team wins”. “Obviously the last 48 hours it felt pretty crappy. So I’m happy we won tonight” Gasol added.
