OG Anunoby has been sidelined for several weeks, but might return during the NBA Finals, according to Ryan Wolstat of the Toronto Sun. The 21-year-old British forward was a regular member of Nick Nurse’s rotation before his emergency appendectomy surgery six weeks ago. He has since missed every 2019 NBA Playoffs match.

Without him, the Toronto Raptors were crowned Eastern Conference Champions and set up the NBA Finals best-of-seven series versus the Golden State Warriors. Action will kick off on Thursday evening at the Scotiabank Arena and the Raptors are quietly optimistic Anunoby will be able to suit up at some point during the Finals.

The Warriors are also expecting their injured players back. Kevin Durant (right calf) and Andre Iguodala (left calf) haven’t yet progressed to on-court work, but both might be ready for Game 1. DeMarcus Cousins (left quad) has been practicing and is expected to help his team at some point of the series.
