Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard have been talking over the possibility of joining forces on the same team next season, according to ESPN.
Τhe L.A. Clippers and the New York Knicks are two teams that have the capacity to acquire this superstar duo while providing an appealing case overall to both Durant and Leonard.
Leonard has been reported to be “seriously” considering signing with the L.A. Lakers. ESPN says that both players are to meet with several teams before making any decisions.
If Leonard and Durant team up to sign with the same team, then they will actually play together in 2020-2021 since KD will miss 2019-2020 due to a ruptured Achilles tendon he suffered in Game 5 of the Finals.
