Luka Doncic’s first NBA season was impressive, but saw the Dallas Mavericks settle for 14th place in the Western Conference with a 33-49 W-L tally. However, the 20-year-old Slovenian has high hopes for the 2019-20 campaign, as he explained while visiting Umag for the 2020 Croatia Open, an ATP tennis tournament.
“We will” he replied to a question on the Mavs making it to the NBA Playoffs next season per ClutchPoints and furthered: “We’ll make the Playoffs. We must. That’s our plan and I think we’ll make it.”
