DeMarcus Cousins allegedly threatened to kill his former girlfriend Christy West, per a report by TMZ.
TMZ obtained a report according to which West alleges that Cousins told her that he will put a “bullet in (her) f—ing head” because she wasn’t letting their 7-year-old son attend the player’s wedding to Morgan Lang in Atlanta, on August 24.
West is seeking a restraining order from the court for Cousins’ alleged death threats. According to the court documents, she said that Cousins had previously choked her.
The Lakers reacted to TMZ’s report by issuing the following statement: “We are aware of the allegation involving DeMarcus Cousins and, of course, take this claim seriously,” the Lakers said in a statement. “We are in the process of gathering information and will reserve further comment at this time.”
