With Peja Stojakovic and LeBron James in attendance to enjoy their kids, Team USA netted the win, 90-84, against Team World in the 2023 Nike Hoop Summit in Portland, Oregon.

Andrej Stojakovic, the oldest child of former NBA player Peja Stojakovic and Stanford commit, ended up with 12 points, four rebounds, and one block in the losing effort Saturday evening. Eligible to play for Greece and Serbia at the international level, Greece was the country listed on his jersey.

LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne’s Zaccharie Risacher was among the upstarts in Moda Center. The French forward tallied five points, eight rebounds, one assist, and one block. The son of former player Stephane Risacher was the only player in the early stages of his professional career across both squads.

On his way to the NCAA via Duke, Mackenzie Mgbako scored a game-high 22 points but his display was not enough for the first Team World Win since 2018.

Stuffing the stat sheet, Ron Holland registered a team-high 15 points plus game-highs of nine rebounds and six steals in a strong display for Team USA. The power forward, committed to playing college basketball for Texas, also dished out five assists in the annual exhibition game.

Bronny James tucked in 11 points, including two free throws to seal the win with 5.4 seconds left.

Apart from James and Stojakovic, other notables in attendance were Draymond Green and Chris Bosh.

Team USA earned the 17th win in 24 Nike Hoop Summit matchups opposite Team World since 1995. European legends Dirk Nowitzki and Tony Parker are both among former participants.
