Lefteris Mantzoukas is set to play at Oklahoma State next season, leaving Greece for the NCAA.
The 22-year-old forward has already been a pro, however under the new NIL rules this is not an issue.
His contact with Panathinaikos expires this summer, so Mantzoukas is essentially a free agent after finishing the season on loan at Maroussi.
In 24 games in the Greek Basketball League with Maroussi, he averaged 7.4 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.1 assists a game while shooting 41% from three.
Matzoukas who emerged as a teen-ager playing from Promitheas Patras was considered an NBA project but didn’t got drafted and he was also not expected to hear his name this June on the NBA draft.
Still he is considered one of the top talents of the Greek young generation.
