Penn State University has made a significant statement in the college basketball landscape with a trio of notable roster moves, adding international experience and securing a familiar face for the upcoming season.

Croatian forward Roko Prkacin, who most recently played for Nanterre in France and previously played for other professional teams like Dreamland Gran Canaria and Bàsquet Girona, has officially signed with Penn State. Prkacin will bring valuable professional experience to the Nittany Lions, strenghtening Penn State’s frontcourt immediately.

Joining him is Francois Wibaut, formerly of Pau-Orthez, another French club with a strong tradition of developing talent. And in addition to the new arrivals, Penn State also welcomes back Ivan Juric, who returns to the program after a previous stint.

These moves reflect a clear strategy by Penn State to blend international experience with continuity and how the college basketball league is more able than ever to lure the best European talent, even when it comes to professionals.
