Greek talent Neoklis Avdalas is leaping forward next season in the NCAA and will play for the iconic University of North Carolina, as reported by Jeff Borzello.
After an inconsistent year at Virginia Tech and after training with Panathinaikos in Greece in recent days, Avdalas will be one of the key figures for the Tar Heels. With Mike Malone now at the helm, Avdalas will be a key player for the Tar Heels.
He will play his sophomore year at the legendary ACC university, and perhaps he will do so against another of Europe’s future talents, Estonian center Henri Veesaar. Avdalas averaged 12.1 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game, but Virginia Tech failed to make it into March Madness after a poor season.
