Five NBA players are included in the 12-man roster of the French national team for the 2021 Olympic Games: Nicolas Batum, Evan Fournier, Rudy Gobert, Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot and Frank Ntilikina.

France will be competing in Group B and will face Team USA, Japan and Nigeria. Two teams advance directly to the quarterfinals.
