Serbia senior national team head coach Igor Kokoskov said that both Nikola Milutinov and Branko Lazic will be sidelined as Serbia enters the Olympic Qualifying Tournament.

Vanja Marinkovic was also removed from his list. Dalibor Ilic was the final cut leaving the 12 players shaping the final roster but he will remain among the potential options for the national team.

Danilo Andjusic, Aleksa Avramovic, Nemanja Bjelica, Dejan Davidovac, Ognjen Dobric, Stefan Jovic, Nikola Kalinic, Boban Marjanovic, Vasilije Micic, Dragan Milosavljevic, Filip Petrusev, and Milos Teodosic will be the players available in upcoming fixtures.

Serbia is up against the Dominican Republic and the Philippines in the preliminary round of the Belgrade OQT. Italy, Puerto Rico, and Senegal make out the other group. The team ranking first overall will advance to the Olympic Games.

Milutinov, 26, still hopes to get himself ready for action and play in the Olympic Games, if Serbia books the ticket to Tokyo without him on the court. He is practicing individually. He will be joined by Ilic during the six-team tournament.
