After drawing three groups for the preliminary rounds, FIBA followed with the final schedule of the Olympic Basketball Tournaments to be held in Paris this summer.
The International Basketball Federation released the schedule from the group stage to the gold medal games across the men’s and women’s basketball tournaments on Wednesday.
The top two teams from each group and the two best-ranked third-placed national teams will progress to the Quarterfinals. A total of six games, combined with the knockout stage, leads to the medal games on August 10 for the men’s tournament and on August 11 for the women’s tournament.

The four remaining places in the Men’s Tournament are reserved for the winners of each of the four FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournaments 2024, which are taking place in Latvia, Greece, Puerto Rico and Spain from July 2 to 7.
