The Croatian basketball Federation runs among the candidates to host one of the four pre-Olympic tournaments ahead of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, as announced Monday.
The Federation proposed the tournament to be held in the city of Split, between June 23 to 28, 2020.
Apart from Croatia, several European nations have expressed their interest to host one of the tournaments. Greece first confirmed its intention to run as a candidate, then was joined by Lithuania and also Serbia.
